THE CHALLENGE IS

ANYTHING GOES

So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Betsy - Today's card features Gil Rabbit Growing Sunflowers. In honor of spring I've turned them into daisies! I composed my card in the computer using Winnie's Celebration Kit 1 Papers 2 for my background. I used an excess piece of the green stripe and die cut it with a grass border die. I colored up Gil using Copic markers. I used a side folding card base with a white scalloped panel, then the panel I popped up on foam. I adhered the sentiment to the top left. I embellished with a white gel pen, tiny iridescent butterflies, a heart button on Gil's overalls and tiny yellow flowers.
Copic colors used: Yg00, Y02, Y15, Y17, YG11, YG63, YG23, B000, B01, B93, B95, B97, Roo, R02, E33, E35, E37, B1, C3, C5, W0, W1, W3, W5
Christina P - Hi everyone. This week's theme was using turquoise and a circle so for my birthday card I used the Ruby birthday cake digital stamp and next to her I added a sentiment using the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Sentiment/Quotes Bundle. I coloured Ruby in using my alcohol markers then die cut the stamp into a circle. I then printed some of the beautiful papers from the Pretty Winnie Daisy papers. I cut some into circles to add in the background and used one of the papers as the back layer. I finished the card using some flowers and twine from my stash.

ENRICA - Hello everyone! This week the DT was asked to make an Easter card with a non-standard shape and a flower seemed perfect to me. I used the super cute Butterfly Chick Spring into Easter digital stamp, colred with Copic. Patterned papers are from the Bella Bear Morning Coffee and Gnome holding carrots gardening Digi Deals. I’m totally in love with this sweet chick, hope you like it too!

Tinne - Hi everyone! Easter is looking around the corner, so we are creating Easter cards! I created a flower shaped card out of craft cardstock. I cut out the base shape a second time out of white oxide ink cardstock, and a third time out of a green pattern paper from the Work & Play 10 collection – Paper Heaven 2. I cut out the middle circle from the white one, and inked it with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink. I splattered it with water and some of the ink. Once dry, I glued it on my base shape. I used the green scalloped circle to cut out 2 grass sections, and I cut of the scallops. I glued one section on the flower shape, glued the gnome from the Gnome Spring Lambs/Sheep precoloured image set behind the front part of the grass, put some foam tape behind it and also glued it on the base shape. I put foam tape behind the butterfly and glued it in place. I used a sentiment from the Lily Bug Ladybird Messages set, because we don’t send Easter cards here in Belgium. I put foam tape behind it and glued it into place. And now I have tot turn my flower shape into a card. I folded a piece of craft cardstock, creating a smal base card. I cut out a circle using a circle die from my stash, but I kept a piece of the fold. That way you get a base card shaped like a circle. I glued this behind my flower shape, and now you’ve got a flower shaped card! Have fun crafting!

Deborah - Hello all! Deborah here, and I am working on more Easter cards for my granddaughters. I just love this Cute Bunny Rabbit Sitting on Easter Egg digi stamp [https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/cute-bunny-rabbit-sitting-on-easter-egg-digital-stamp-digistamp-for-cards-cardmaking-crafting-and-stickers/] and I know my granddaughter will too. I decided to use a rounded, braided, non-traditional shape that opens on the side, and colored her with alcohol ink markers. This digi stamp is also available in a pre-colored version, if you prefer. I finished the card by adding a sentiment from the Springtime Smiles Sentiment Bundle [https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/easter-greetings-quotes-and-sentiments-printable-clipart-digital-stamp-digistamp-for-cards-cardmaking-crafting-and-stickers/] and a few embellishments. Listed below are the Copic Alcohol Ink Marker colors that I used to color this digi stamp...

Maz - This week we followed a colour palette and used a circle. For my March Birthday card, I used Rebel Birthday Cake along with backing paper and a sentiment from the same collection. The presents were created using Sweet Birthday Stamp Set. The candles and balloons are from Birthday Celebrations Stamp Set. All details can be found on my blog.

CHRISTIN B - The design team was asked to make something for march birthday. The most days in march standing in the zodiac sign Pisces. Although my birthday is in February it’s also my zodiac sign. Therefore I wanted to make something with this beautiful pisces and combined it with the zodiac star sign circles. I printed it out in extra large to made a decoration for me with the tambour frame. I colored everything with alcohol markers, now some pencils are empty:).

Wendy - Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful week - today were making March Birthday cards so I decided to use the wonderful Pre-coloured Pisces image from the Zodiac Collection along with one of the sentiments. It's the perfect image as we had a colour palette to use too for this challenge and to include a circle! Did you know that March birthdays fall across two zodiac signs ? - Pisces and Aries. I printed out the image 3 times before fussy cutting out and decoupaging and then added lots of lovely sparkle to the design - you can never have too much sparkly don't you think?

Nat Martin - This time I could not resist using the cute Milkshake Drink Rebel digistamp, I love this one, she has so much attitude.  The background papers are from the Coffee Tea Cake Digital Paper kit - Hope you like It! ❤️

THE CHALLENGE IS

ANYTHING GOES

So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Deborah - Hello all! Deborah here and I am working on my Easter cards for my granddaughters. They love everything that's cute and pink 💕 and this cute Winnie Easter Bunny definitely hits the mark! For this postage edge, oval shaped card, I selected the un-colored digi stamp Winnie Easter Bunny. I feel in love with this cute little Winnie all dressed-up in her cute little onesie. I decided to color her with alcohol ink markers using a playful rainbow of pastels. This digi stamp is also available in a pre-colored version, if you prefer. I finished the card by adding some printed papers from the Just Lovely Honeypie Printable Paper Bundle, a bow, and some embellishments. Listed below are the Copic Alcohol Ink Marker colors that I used to color this digi stamp.

  • Y: 02, 21, 23, 32
  • YR: 31
  • YG: 21, 61, 63
  • E: 50, 51, 53, 55

  • RV: 0000, 00, 10, 11
  • BV: 0000, 01

Tinne - Hi everyone! For this challenge I created a soccer card using the Soccer Football Gnome precoloured image. I glued 2 white rectangle stitched cardstock pieces on top of a slightly bigger white base card. I cut out 2 little tags. One out of navy cardstock, and one out of a paper from the Work & Play Paper Heaven 1 paper pack. I glued them on top of each other, showing just a litte bit of the navy tag. I cut a grass border out of green cardstock, and inked it with Lucky Clover and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I sprinkled it with water. Once drie, I sprinkled some Evergreen Bough and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink over it. I glued the grass border on the tag, and glued this on the card. I put foam tape behind my gnome image and a sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Greetings, Quotes and Sentiments pack, and also glued them into place. I made a bow out of twine, and glued it on the top of my tag. I hope you like it! Instagram page: Tinne Peeters (@robinette_crafts) • Instagram-foto's en -video's

CHRISTIN - I feel like spring and so I had to work with light colors for my next card for the new DigiChoosday Challenge. I have chosen a yellow flower paper from the Watercolor flower stem collection. In front of it I layered the Daisy Dance Flower Fairy which I colored with my alcohol markers. With the sentiment it’s a perfect card for mothers day.

Wendy - Hi everyone I hope that you are all well. Today I'm here to share a card that I've made that would be perfect to send for Mother's Day, especially to let someone know that you care about them...Mothers Day can be a difficult time for many of us. It's a simple thinking of you card using a gorgeous image from the January collection. This sweetheart is Glass Half Full coloured with Promarkers. I've created a simple popup card from teal cardstock and combined this with dotty papers from the Happy Cactus collection. The sentiment which I have foiled is from the Honeypie Just Lovely greetings bundle

ENRICA - Hello everyone! Today I’d like to share with you my teapot using papers and digital stamp from the adorable Bella Bear Morning Coffee bundle, the little “Time for Tea” sticker on the tag is from the Work & Play 12 Design Sheet - Barista girl/coffee/cake/waitress. This teapot is actually a small box (inside there are 4 tea bags), it could be a nice idea for a little gift or a place card. Hope you like it! Xx

Nat Martin - This time I have created a XL special tag with lot of color and lots of love :) I found marvellous the digital papers included with the stamps....so so beautiful!!!!!
For the project I have used this beautiful designs called Watercolour Stem and this Mothers day message...Hope you like It! Huge kisses, Natalia

We are thrilled to introduce Betsy to our team of talented crafters this week - we love her work and hope you'll follow her blog and social media too for some GORGEOUS projects she's going to be sharing with us all!

Betsy - Hello everyone! Bringing a little sparkly goodness in the middle of winter! I've used the Butterfly Flower Pots to create this card. I printed it on thin (90lb) watercolor paper. I colored the images with Copic markers and then highlighted the lines within the imageswith glitter watercolor paint. I added little mirror gems here and there and diecut the panel with a die from my stash. I mounted
the colored panel onto periwinkle glitter stock and then adhered to a white A2 size top folding note card. A perfect touch of sparkle for these cold gray days of February!

THE CHALLENGE IS

ANYTHING GOES

So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Janelle: Hello Crafty Friends I’m back with a super cute valentine bear card. For this card I used TooCute digi stamp, Pretty Winnie Daisy Paper and Winnie Daisy Sentiments
  • Bear: E 30, 31, 33, 34, 35
  • Bear shirt: BG70, 72, 75
  • Nose/ears: R01, 11, 20
  • Hearts: R11, 20/ B000, B41/ BG70, 72/ G40, 43/RV 91, 93

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is February Birthday - Amethyst, use puurple and diamond shape. I created this February Birthday card using the image Pisces Digital Stamp and Zodiac Paper Pack. I used a diamond shape die cut to cut out the pattern papers and purple cardstock.

KIM STEWART -For our Design Team Project this week it was using my Favourite colour purple. Yippee. I bet you think I'm going to use Winnie since i love her so much eh? HA! fooled you, not this time. I chose Serenity Fairy Earthstar for my card front. I love her wispy hair and dress. I printed her out quite big so she fills up most of the card, which i typically do 6" X 6". I added some diamond AB jewels to the card front, and Diamond glitter glue to make her wings sparkle. A simple little birthday wishes tag that hides behind the image. My paper selections come from the Lilac Haze set. They fit perfectly with my purple/lilac fairy.
Renske - I am excited to share my latest creation - a shaker card featuring the adorable digital stamp 'Hippo Helga Bedtime'. Since I wanted to make a get well soon card, this digital stamp of Helga in her pyjamas was very appropriate. To match the digital stamp perfectly, I coloured Helga in pink shades. I used the pink paper with hearts from the 'Hippo Paper Heaven 4 digital paper set. Although the card is simple, the shaker element adds an extra touch. Additionally, the sentiment 'Feel better soon' from the 'Helga Hippo Sentiment' set helps to convey a sincere message. The heart pattern on the paper can also send some love to someone who is feeling unwell. I hope you like it. Happy Crafting! My Instagram: @renske.wishes.you

Jane – My diamond shaped card is to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and as her birth stone is amethyst our DT theme this week was perfect. I have watercoloured the beautiful FLOWER MEADOW digi deal and added the ‘Mum’ from the WINNIE SUGAR SPRINKLES QUOTES KIT and the ‘Birthday Wishes’ from the WANDA SENTIMENT BUNDLE.

Deborah Hello all! Unfortunately, sometimes I need a card for someone who is not feeling well. It's always a good idea to have a few of these in my stash for when the need arises. For this week's card, I decided use Sparkle the Unicorn un-colored digi stamp which also comes with cut files. I decided to color her with alcohol ink markers using a playful rainbow of brighter pastels. She is also available in a pre-colored digi version, if you prefer. I finished the card with a sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Fairy Collection . Check out all the other digi images from the Sparkle Unicorn collection... they're adorable. There are so many cute ones, you can get a great deal by purchasing the Sparkle Unicorn Big Kahuna bundle.

NATALIA KUZAK - Today, I would like to show you something completely different. I've been wanting to create something from the delightful Winnie Wonderland collection for a while now. It is available at the Polkadoodles store in various options, ranging from individual digital stamps to toppers and themed sets. I used the largest set for more flexibility in choosing elements, resulting in an interactive card with spinning wheels inside, perfect for this theme. All elements were printed and placed on the wheels, also decorating the entire card. How do you like it? Let me know!
Wow!! Lots of gorgeous inspiration for you this week to use - we hope you'll share what you make with your Polkadoodles products on our Social Media! Share in our Facebook group here...
